2026 ALLIANCE Hockey Select Championships, Kitchener, April 2-5, 2026 In conjunction with the Kitchener Minor Hockey Association, ALLIANCE Hockey is pleased to announce that registration for the 2026 ALLIANCE Hockey Select Championships is now open!

The 2026 ALLIANCE Hockey U18, U16 and U15 AAA Prospects Games concluded on January 4th with over 120 players participating in the divisional games in front a large crowd at the Komoka Recreation & Wellness Centre. 

Initiative will look to strengthen and further evolve junior hockey across the province TORONTO, Ontario – In partnership, Hockey Eastern Ontario, Hockey Northwestern Ontario, the Ontario Hockey Federation and Hockey Canada have announced that IIHF Triple Gold Club member and Hockey Hall of Fame inductee Brendan Shanahan (Mimico, ON) is leading a review of men’s junior hockey in Ontario and will deliver recommendations to all four organizations to strengthen and further evolve junior hockey in the province.
