Team Canada kicks off quest for 21st World Juniors gold medal on Boxing Day against Czechia TORONTO, Ontario – Powered by TELUS, Hockey Canada has unveiled 27 players who will take part in Canada’s National Junior Team training camp at the Gale Centre in Niagara Falls, Ontario, prior to the start of the 2026 IIHF World Junior Championship, Dec. 26-Jan. 5 in Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minnesota.

This weekend marks an exciting new chapter in minor hockey as ALLIANCE Hockey and the OMHA officially launch a pilot program for ‘A’ level competition featuring an interlock schedule—an initiative designed to strengthen competition, expand opportunities, and unite hockey communities across the province.

ALLIANCE Hockey introduced today the third edition of the U18AAA Power Rankings for the 2025-26 regular season. The bi-weekly rankings of the ALLIANCE Hockey Top 3 teams are selected by a panel of Coaches and Scouts.

On November 29th Thom Foster was recognized as the recipient of the OHF 2024-2025 Dr. Alan Morris Award, an honour reserved for individuals whose leadership and integrity have strengthened the game across Ontario. His leadership throughout the years, especially during the pandemic and his commitment to maltreatment prevention, coaching education, officiating and anti-bullying is unmatched.
