Minor Midget HL, 2019-2020 (Greater London Hockey Association)

Initiative will look to strengthen and further evolve junior hockey across the province TORONTO, Ontario – In partnership, Hockey Eastern Ontario, Hockey Northwestern Ontario, the Ontario Hockey Federation and Hockey Canada have announced that IIHF Triple Gold Club member and Hockey Hall of Fame inductee Brendan Shanahan (Mimico, ON) is leading a review of men’s junior hockey in Ontario and will deliver recommendations to all four organizations to strengthen and further evolve junior hockey in the province.

It is with sadness that we share the passing of Jack McNaughton. Jack was a life member of the Stratford Minor Hockey Association where he volunteered for over three decades, most notably with the Annual Rotary/Minor Hockey Christmas Tournament in which he was awarded a Paul Harris Fellow Award for Volunteerism. The tournament changed to a Regional Silver Stick Qualifier that Jack was chairperson of for many years. The tournament was renamed in 2024 to the Jack McNaughton Regional Silver Stick Tournament in his honor. Our condolences go out to Jack's family and friends.
