Updates on Cor-Virus 2020

From the Desk of the Alliance:  


Please note some of the decisions that have been made in regards to the Cor- Virus 2020

1. It was unanimous decision to suspend hockey.  The season is not paused but indeed Cancelled. The reference to unanimous refers to all Hockey Associations NOHA, OMHA, GTHL. Alliance all were agreed.  

2. There will be no Championships. NO OHF's NO Seeded A/AA NO GTHL/Alliance  Non Contact A Midget, No HL Selet, No MD, No HL Finals weekend. The season is over. There will be some discussion for Host centers to determine next steps involve with MD championships. 



3. Practices are all cancelled as well. There is no cover from Insurance beyond the March 12 midnight cancellation. Team Parties are not covered and not allowed is as this is considered an official gathering. 

4. The OHF and Hockey Canada are still discussing the Spring tryouts and Spring Programming and we shall hear some time on Monday what the outcome of those discussions are.
