London Junior Mustangs Registration Information
Submitted By webmaster on Saturday, July 3, 2021
Over the past season, a few things have changed regarding registration for the London Junior Mustangs. First, Hockey Canada launched a new hockey registration platform, Hockey Canada Registry (HCR) 3.0.  This new system will replace the HCR 2.0 system you have used in the past. It is a little different and it will take some getting used to but we will help you through the processes. As this is a new system, players will need to re-enter all of their personal and payment information. For more information please visit this page to watch a tutorial on how to register a new participant, an existing participant and multiple players.

Secondly, the London Junior Mustangs now have their own registration link! Players do not register with their Home Association anymore. Players will now go directly to the London Junior Mustangs website to register for tryouts and team registration.

Lastly, we will be doing registration a little bit differently this year. We are doing registration in two parts. Tryouts and then team registration.

1.      Tryout registration procedure.

In past seasons, players registered with their ‘Home Association’ (London Bandits, North London Nationals, Oakridge Aero, or West London Hawks) for London Junior Mustangs tryouts. This season however, players wishing to participate in the London Junior Mustangs 2021/22 tryouts, will register for tryouts on the new London Junior Mustangs registration portal. Players are ONLY registering for 2021/22 tryouts at this time. Please note: due to circumstances beyond our control, the tryout schedules cannot be posted at this time.  You will be notified when the tryout schedule is posted.

Players released from the London Junior Knights AA tryouts should immediately visit the London Junior Mustangs registration page to register for Mustangs tryouts.

Players released from Mustangs tryouts will need to return to their Home Association’s website to register for MD tryouts or House League.

Checking Clinic information

U15 (Bantam) and U14 (Minor Bantam) players wishing to tryout for the London Junior Mustangs MUST participate in a mandatory checking clinic. The clinic date(s) will be posted on the London Junior Mustangs site when the tryout schedule is posted.

Any players wishing to tryout for U16-U18 (Minor Midget or Midget) who have not participated in a checking clinic before, will also need to participate in the clinic(s) before being allowed to tryout. More information about the checking clinic will be posted later this month.

2.      Team registration procedure.

After tryouts, players selected to a London Junior Mustangs team will then need to return to the HCR 3.0 system and register for the season

As we get closer to tryouts, we will update this message on how to register when a player makes one of the London Junior Mustangs teams. For now though, please use this link to get registered for tryouts!

If you have any questions or need more information, please email the registrar, Trisha Phibbs at  [email protected] or the London Junior Mustangs Chair, Sionainn Pryce-Hynes at [email protected]
